May 27 -30 - Old West Days, Jackson Hole - Jackson Hole, Wyoming is proud to host the 30th Annual Old West Days Celebration. Jackson Hole has long been referred to as "The Last of the Old West." June 18-19 - Woodchoppers Jamboree and Rodeo, Saratoga - For this 51st annual event, the chips fly during Father's Day weekend in Encampment as loggers come from all over the country to compete for the title of Rocky Mountain Champion Lumberjack. Using power saws, axes and hand saws, men and women competitors cut down "trees", chop logs and saw squared wood blocks in half, racing the clock for the fastest time. Cowboys ride bulls and broncs, and the melodrama encourages the audience to get involved. This unique Wyoming event assures a good time will be had by all. June 25 - 26 - Donkey Creek Jazz Festival, Gillette - Bring your family and friends to northeast Wyoming's two day festival of jazz at the Donkey Creek Jazz Festival at Gillette College in Gillette, Wyoming. July 24 - 31 - Teton County Fair, Jackson - We have a fun filled 2011 Teton County Fair planned. Our night events will be Pig Wrestling, Figure "8" Races, Lettuce in Concert, and two nights of Rodeo. We have changed things up a bit as far as our night events schedule, starting with a Rodeo on Wednesday night and ending on Sunday with the ever popular Figure "8" Races. All of the night events, except for the concert, will start at 7:00 p.m., giving families time to go to the Carnival after the shows. (9400)
