Cape Charles Museum & Welcome Center - Dedicated to preserving and presenting to the public the history of Cape Charles and surrounding areas. It is the hope of the Cape Charles Historical Society that inspiration from the richness of its past will help guide Cape Charles' renewal and growth.

Museum of Chincoteague Island - Come explore Chincoteague's heritage. This heritage is not just for "born here" Chincoteaguers, but for all who hanker for the sea. Learn of the history, traditions, and people of the island.

Chincoteague Island - Virginia's only resort island. It is one of the many and perhaps the most beautiful island that dots Virginia's Eastern Shore. They are world famous for there oyster beds and clam shoals, outdoor recreation, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, cool summer breezes, animals in their natural habitat, and beaches that go on forever.

Assateague Island National Seashore - Assateague's south entrance is a 1/4 mile east of Chincoteague, its north entrance is eight miles from Ocean City. Chincoteague and Ocean City are gateways to Assateague Island and provide vacation lodging for outdoor recreation, nature tours to see wild ponies and more.

Chesapeake Arboretum - On the grounds of the farmhouse that serves as the Arboretum Headquarters building are a number of theme gardens, including fragrance and antique rose gardens, as well as several demonstration gardens.

Old Cape Henry Lighthouse - Silently guarding the entry way into the Chesapeake Bay. Standing near the spot where in 1607 Captain Newport raised a cross to offer thanks for their safe crossing of the Atlantic, the Lighthouse is opened to the public on a seasonal schedule.

The Chesapeake Planetarium - The first planetarium constructed in Virginia by a public school system. It was designed as a teaching aid for the school system, but has been made available to the general public as well.

Barrier Islands Center - Buildings showcase the culture, history, community, and ecology of Virginia's Barrier Islands and the peoples who made them their home: Native Americans, farmers, watermen, hunting and fishing guides, storekeepers, hoteliers, and the Lighthouse and Lifesaving Service among others.

The Chesapeake Bay Bridge - Offers bird watching, biking, walking trails, fishing, scenic views and more for a perfect relaxing day in Virginia.

Spider's Explorer - Since the early 1980's Captain Spider has been exploring the waterways of Chincoteague and Assateague Islands. He and his crew feels blessed to be able to enjoy this area and to share it with others who come here to experience it first hand.
