American Whistle Corporation Tours - American Whistle Corporation is the only manufacturer of metal whistles in the United States.  Visitors can take a guided tour and see "American Classics" being made. BalletMet Columbus - BalletMet Columbus has provided artistic excellence in the field of dance to central Ohio since 1978.  BalletMet presents classical favorites in the Ohio Theatre and contemporary dance in the Capitol Theatre.

The Bicycle Museum of America - The Bicycle Museum of America features one of the largest private collections of bicycles in the world.  The museum houses elegant antique bicycles from the 1800s, balloon tire classics of the 1940s and 1950s and even the banana seat high rise handle bar bikes of the 1960s.

Columbus Children's Theatre - Founded in 1963 as the Columbus Junior Theatre of the Arts, the Columbus Children's Theatre (CCT) is dedicated to educating and involving greater Columbus area young people of all races, backgrounds and potential in all facets of the theatre arts.  The theatre produces a variety of productions throughout the year.

Columbus Museum of Art - The Columbus Museum of Art features works from an outstanding collection of impressionists, German expressionists, cubists, American modernists, and contemporary art, including works by Degas, Monet, Matisse, Picasso, Bellows, Demuth, Hopper, Marin and O'Keeffe. Highlights include the Russell Page Sculpture Garden, the Ross Photography Center, and an interactive exhibition for children and families.

The Columbus Zoo & Aquarium - The Columbus Zoo is recognized as one of the finest animal education and research facilities in the United States.  The Columbus Zoo currently covers over 400 acres adjacent to O'Shaughnessy Dam in the greater Columbus area.

Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Garden - Take a walk through the cool Himalayan Mountains, stroll through the steamy Tropical Cloud Forest, or wander through a Pacific Island Water Garden. Explore the thirsty wilderness of a hot, arid Desert and then step into the mist of a Tropical Rain Forest.  Encounter an ancient Bonsai Garden and discover an enchanted Pacific Island. All of these, and many other earthly wonders, can only be found together inside the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Garden.


German Village - The 233 acre district offers a glimpse of how a working class neighborhood developed and grew in the early 19th century and how the passion of a small group drove the 20th century restoration efforts. The guided tours, sponsored by the German Village Society, provide the most comprehensive overview of the history, humor, and humanity of the community and will lead your group through the brick streets of the area.

Music in the air - Since 1973, Music in the Air, a program of the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department, has been providing programs throughout the Columbus community for the whole family. More than 100 free outdoor performances and festivals are held Memorial Day through Labor Day and feature a variety of music, dance, drama and programs for children.

National Heisey Glass Museum - Visitors are treated to breathtaking arrangements of Heisey glassware featuring hundreds of patterns and all known colors. Elegant cuttings, etchings and engravings, as well as experimental pieces, can also be seen.

North Market - Since 1876, the North Market has been part of the Central Ohio community. Here you can shop from more than 30 local merchants offering fresh produce, meats, seafood, poultry, baked goods, and gifts, plus ethnic and prepared foods, and more.

The Santa Maria - The Santa Maria is one of the world's most authentic, museum-quality representations of Christopher Columbus' flagship used when he set sail in 1492.  Built from historically accurate plans based on ancient archives, the ship presents an accurate portrayal of the conditions Columbus and his crew endured on their historic voyage.  On board tours dramatize the daring and determination it took for these explorers to set out on their mission.

Six Flags Wyandot Lake - At Wyandot Lake, you'll find over 60 thrilling rides, slides and attractions for all ages.

Topiary Garden in Old Deaf School Park - Old Deaf School Park in downtown Columbus, is the site of a unique arts project.  Georges Seurat's Famous post impressionist painting, A Sunday On The Island Of La Grande Jatte, is created in topiary.  It is the only topiary interpretation of a painting in existence.  This "landscape of a painting of a landscape" consists of 54 topiary people, eight boats, three dogs, a monkey, a cat and a real pond.  The largest figure is 12' tall.

Wexner Center for the Arts - At the Wexner Center for the Arts, you'll find a diverse array of contemporary arts. The center offers visual arts exhibitions by major artists and emerging talents, films and videos by leading filmmakers of the past and present, and performing arts from around the world.

The Dawes Arboretum - Founded in 1929 by Beman and Bertie Dawes, The Dawes Arboretum includes 1,149 acres of plant collections and natural areas that offer unique educational experiences in any season.
