Blaine
County Museum - Extensive exhibits tell the story of
the Nez Perce Indians, the pioneer days of the cowboy, the hardships of
the homestead era, and follow Blaine County through two World Wars. The
audiovisual presentation '40 Miles to Freedom' is one of the highlights of
the museum.
Lewis and Clark N.H.T. Interpretive Center
- Located on a bluff overlooking the Missouri River in
Giant Springs Heritage State Park. The 25,000 square foot building
includes 5,500 square feet of permanent exhibit hall, a 158-seat theater,
an education room for hands-on activities, retail store, administrative
area, and 1,600 square foot traveling exhibit hall.

Russell Museum - Established in 1953, the C.M. Russell
Museum owns the most complete collection of Charles Russell art and
personal objects in the world. The permanent collection is comprised of
over 12,000 art works and objects.

this Museum. It highlights the important role Fort Benton played in the
settlement of the American West as a trading post, military fort and the

via steamboats to Fort Benton, the 'Head of Navigation' on the Missouri
River. A fur and buffalo robe trading post at first, it became the hub for

Trail Museum - The museum features three life-size
dinosaur models, fossils, Native American artifacts and local history. The
museum reflects the rich cultural and natural history of the Rocky Mountain
Front area. Enjoy two to ten day hands-on paleontology field classes,
available for adults and children, taught by professional paleontology
staff.
