Gateway Arch - Board a tram on one of the legs of the arch and be taken up to the top of the arch, over 600 feet in the air to the observation area. Visit the visitor center, and historic areas nearby.

Historic Bethel German Colony - This tiny community of 117 residents strives to preserve its rich heritage. The Colony offers the public an opportunity to step back into a time when colonists lived by the golden rule and shared their crops, clothing, crafts and even their earnings. Explore an 1800s colony with a mapped walking tour, shops and museums, and homemade meals at the Fest Hall.

The Saint Louis Art Museum - One of the leading art museums in the nation. The museum features permanent and visiting collections.

Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum - Visit the original boyhood home of the famous Mark Twain. Though it has gone through extensive restoration, it still keeps the image which it did during Twain's childhood. Tours through the home and adjoining museum contain wonderful collections of historic items.

American Kennel Club Museum - Home to the world's finest collection of art devoted to the dog. The 14,000 sq. ft. facility, which includes historic Jarville House (1853), displays over 500 original paintings, drawings, watercolors, prints, sculptures in bronze and porcelain, and a variety of decorative arts objects depicting man's best friend throughout the age.

First Due Fire Museum - Chances are if you can think of an item or tool used in the fire service they may have it on display or know someone who will display it. The Museum is staffed with over 70 area firefighters on their own time.

Historic Hermann Museum - Committed to preserving and interpreting the collective heritage of Hermann and its environs.

Wax Museum of St Louis - 200 + Life Size Figures. Established 1983 Located In The Center of Laclede's Landing In a 1885 Cast Iron Facade Warehouse Building. That is Listed on National Historic Landmark.

Mark Twain Riverboat - Enjoy one hour cruises with commentary on river history, legends, and sights. This cruise features an open snack bar with sandwiches and beverages. Dinner cruises and Jazz cruises also available.

St. Louis Zoo - Visit one of America's best zoos. Enjoy a sea lion show, see Asian elephants, cheetahs and spotted hyenas in their habitats, or ride the zooline railroad.

Lewis & Clark Boat House and Nature Center - Among the many museum exhibits are dioramas illustrating highlights of the Lewis and Clark Expedition, Native American displays, and various Missouri River habitats encountered during the journey.

Maples Repertory Theatre - North Missouri's Professional Theatre. Supplying several productions each season that will make you laugh, cry, smile, and applaud. Enjoy at night out at this theatre.

Six Flags St. Louis - Home to some of the biggest, fastest rides in the county including The Boss. Or, for a slower pace, try the family rides and attractions.

NASCAR SpeedPark - Several Go-Kart tracks to race around with your whole family! short tracks, slick tracks, oval and windy tracks. The fun doesn't stop there- there is also a mini-golf course, laser tag, rock climbing wall, bumper boats, arcade, and more!

Science Center - A playground for your head. The center features a planetarium, an OMNIMAX theater, a variety of hands-on exhibits and lots more.

The Magic House - A Children's Museum dedicated to providing hands-on learning experiences for children in a creative and stimulating environment.

International Bowling Museum & Hall of Fame - Journey back to where bowling began. Discover an interactive museum brimming with one-of-a-kind bowling artifacts, a unique bowling experience and a cutting-edge glimpse at the far-flung future of this global pastime.

Missouri History Museum - Located in Forest Park, it offers more than 500 special events during the year. There is something to spark everyone's interest.

City Museum - Housed in the 600,000 square-foot former International Shoe Company, the museum is an eclectic mixture of children's playground, funhouse, surrealistic pavilion.

Meramec Caverns - Learn how Mother Nature built an ancient limestone 'Wine Table' and an entire 7-story mansion... all underground. On tour you will see both the rarest and largest cave formations in the world.

Mark Twain Cave - The oldest show cave in the state of Missouri, giving tours for over 114 years. The cave has also served as a place of hiding for Indians, trappers of animals for trade, the infamous Jesse James and slaves searching for freedom via the Underground Railroad.

Missouri Botanical Garden - The mission is to discover and share knowledge about plants and their environment, in order to preserve and enrich life. Today, more than 140 years after opening, the Missouri Botanical Garden is a National Historic Landmark and a center for research, education and horticultural display.
