June 1- 9 - The Wichita River Festival, Wichita - The Wichita River Festival has grown from a one-day event to a nine-day event. There's more than 150 hours of musical entertainment, performed by more than 100 bands. Come hungry, there's plenty of great food options with the numerous concessions and food vendors. July 28- August 4 - Northwest Kansas District Free Fair, Goodland - The annual Northwest Kansas District Free Fair is held the first full week in August. The fair attracts people from Kansas, Colorado, and Nebraska. Each year the fair offers many opportunities for commercial vendors, exhibitors and so much more. (10203)
