The Durango Melodrama and Vaudeville - Located in the Historic Strater Hotel, melodrama shows are followed by hilarious Vaudeville routines. A wonderful setting for an affordable night of family fun and camaraderie.

Magic Circle Theatre - Through the efforts of volunteers, MCP strives to entertain, educate, and involve the residents of Western Colorado, young and old, by encouraging an appreciation of the dramatic arts. History is always in the making at Magic Circle Players.

Durango Discovery Kids Museum - An educational and playful place for all ages. Hands-on learning, interactive exhibits, workshops, and programs invite us to discover more about ourselves and the world around us.

Crow Canyon Archaeological Center - If you're looking for an adventure in Southwestern archaeology, an exploration of Native American cultures, or a great way to experience the extraordinary landscape of the Four Corners region – Crow Canyon is the place for you!

Pioneer Town Museum - A reminder of how the early settlers of Colorado lived. All of the structures are original restorations, or authentic replicas. All buildings are outfitted with artifacts from the area. Open in the summer months but special tours for groups are available year around by appointment.

Climbing Tree Children's Museum - The Museum in Montrose exists to meet the need for a fun yet educational outlet for children aged newborn through ten. This is done through hands-on, scientifically sound exhibits and interactive workshops.

Ute Indian Museum - Sitting in the heart of traditional Ute territory on lands once homesteaded by Chief Ouray. Migrating from the mountains in the summer to river valleys in the winter, the Utes used the abundant plants and animals of the Uncompahgre River valley for food, clothing, and shelter

Crested Butte Mountain Theatre - Born in the summer of 1972 by an energetic, talented group of people who had the vision to see a remote community provide some of its own unique culture. Today we continue that tradition with a state of the art lighting system and a newly designed theatre.

The Mountain Bike Hall of Fame and Museum - Houses items of memorabilia, including vintage bikes, components, classic photos, press clippings and highlights from historic races and events.

Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad & Museum - Winding through spectacular & breathtaking canyons in the remote wilderness of the two-million acre San Juan National Forest for an unforgettable year round adventure. 90 mile round-trip from Durango to Silverton and back.

Fred Harman Art Museum - Visit the original home of the creator of Red Ryder and Little Beaver comics, and CAA artist, displays of his paintings, Red Ryder and Little Beaver comics, rodeo, movie and western memorabilia.

The Anasazi Heritage Center - A museum of the Ancestral Puebloan (or Anasazi) culture and other Native cultures in the Four Corners region. It is also the starting point for visits to Canyons of the Ancients National Monument .

Pioneer Museum - Most of the items on display date back to the early settlers. The Museums collections truly represent the cultural history and heritage of the people of Gunnison County. The Museums narrow gauge train consists of the D&RG Engine #268, a flanger, a gondola, a boxcar, a livestock car and a caboose.

Museum of the Mountain West - The present disappears into the past with one step inside the building. View 500,000 artifacts from the mountain west displayed in store and office displays circa 1880-1930.

Ouray - The 'Switzerland of America' has been a destination of world travelers for more than 100 years. The entire town is listed on the National Register of Historic Districts. In addition to skiing and ice climbing, you will find hot springs and the Bachelor-Syracuse Gold mine.

Old Hundred Gold Mine Tour - The underground world of the hard rock miner is rarely seen by “outsiders.” Now you too can go “on shift” and see the earth from the inside out. A one hour guided tour takes you 1/3 mile into Galena Mountain where you follow the vein and learn how mining was done.
